Here's the "Illinois State Police Rock & Roll Patrol" parked. This appears to be a 1974 Dodge Monaco Brougham 4-Door Hardtop (no B-Pillar). This luxo-wagon is distinguished by it's large, curved rear window and taillights with the Dodge emblem. It has the plain-Jane dog-dish center wheel covers, fancy gas filler cover and no rear bumperettes. You can barely see the upscale hood ornament and chrome strip. We don't know the owner, state or purpose.
Below is another Jim Post creation. Shown here at a D.A.R.E. event in Gateway, Mo., it usually graces the Legends show in Branson, MO. Notice the guy with the Blues Brothers shirt. Just a coincidence? By the way, I would add ropes to the speaker, front-to-back, for highway speeds. Trust me on this!
